A Church-focused community centered on Jesus

MercyGift is a church-loving community gathered around Jesus Christ and sent into the world for His purposes (Matthew 28:19–20). We are a family of believers committed to loving God wholeheartedly, loving people sacrificially, and living on mission together (Matthew 22:37–39; Acts 2:42–47). As a local expression of the Body of Christ, we worship together, grow in Scripture, share in fellowship, and serve with the hope of the Gospel. Our desire is to see lives transformed by Jesus and communities renewed by the presence and power of God (Romans 12:1–5).

Our heart is captured in this promise of Scripture:

“Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice;
Blessed are all those who wait for Him.” — Isaiah 30:18

Founded in 2003, MercyGift exists to help the Church take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyONE. From the beginning, our calling has been to strengthen the local church, activate believers, equip leaders, and support the spread of the Gospel among the unreached (Ephesians 4:11–13). Through years of ministry across many nations, we have remained anchored in one conviction: God works through His Church to transform the world (Matthew 16:18).

Our Foundation: God’s Word and God’s Nature

We stand firmly on the truth that the Bible is the divinely inspired, infallible, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 19:7–9). Scripture shapes who we are and how we live as a community of faith.

We believe there is one God—a perfect unity—eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14). In this divine unity we see the beauty of relationship, love, and purpose that defines our life together as His people.

At the center of our faith is the Lord Jesus Christ: fully God and fully man (John 1:1,14), born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23), sinless in life (Hebrews 4:15), victorious in His all-sufficient atoning death (Psalm 22, 1 Peter 2:24), and triumphant in His bodily resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3–4). He ascended to the Father’s right hand (Acts 1:9–11) and will return in power and glory (Revelation 19:11–16). Through Him we receive forgiveness, new life, and eternal hope (John 3:16; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

We depend daily on the Holy Spirit, who convicts, indwells, enlightens, and empowers believers for godly living (John 16:8; Romans 8:9–11; Acts 1:8) and equips the church with spiritual gifts for worship, service, and witness (1 Corinthians 12:4–7).

The Gospel to Every Nation

We believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ must be proclaimed to every nation and people group in a deliberate and faithful way (Matthew 24:14; Revelation 7:9). Following the pattern revealed in Scripture, we affirm God’s redemptive plan that the Gospel is “to the Jew first and also to the Greek” (Romans 1:16).

From the earliest days of the Church, the message of salvation was carried first to the Jewish people and then extended to all nations (Acts 1:8; Acts 13:46; Romans 2:9–10). We honor this Biblical order as part of God’s unfolding mission and are committed to participating in His global purpose—bringing the Good News to Israel and to every people group on earth. We believe God’s Covenant and the Gospel of Jesus Christ given to Abraham, through the Jewish people, intended for every tribe, people, nation, and tongue.

This conviction shapes our mobilization, partnerships, and outreach as we work to see the Church equipped and sent to all nations in obedience to Christ’s command (Matthew 28:19–20).

The Church: God’s Instrument in the World

We believe the local church is the Bride of Christ and God’s chosen instrument to transform individuals and communities (Ephesians 5:25–27; 1 Peter 2:5). The church is a living body—called to display God’s glory, embody His love, and advance His Kingdom on earth (Matthew 5:14–16).

As the MercyGift church-focused community, we exist to strengthen the wider church and cultivate a culture of missional living. We help activate believers, train leaders, and support missionaries so that the Gospel advances through healthy local churches (Acts 13:1–3; Romans 10:14–15). Through discipleship, worship, prayer, and mobilization initiatives such as MissionsMob, we equip our members and partner churches to live sent lives—faithfully representing Jesus in our cities and among the nations (Acts 1:8).

Worship, Sacraments, and Life Together

Our shared life is centered on worship and obedience to Christ (Romans 12:1). We joyfully practice the ordinances and sacraments given to the church. We regularly gather around the Lord’s Table, sharing in Communion as an act of remembrance and worship, proclaiming the Lord’s death until He comes (Luke 22:19–20; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26).

Through baptism and the Lord’s Supper, we celebrate God’s grace, affirm our unity in Christ, and continually center our community on the finished work of Jesus (Romans 6:3–4; Colossians 2:12). Prayer, Scripture, fellowship, and service shape the rhythms of our life together as we grow in Christlikeness and love for one another (Acts 2:42; Hebrews 10:24–25).

Partnership with the Wider Church

We are committed to working alongside other local churches in a spirit of unity and mutual encouragement (John 17:21; Ephesians 4:3–6). We believe the global Church is strongest when congregations partner together, sharing wisdom, resources, and support.

MercyGift serves churches by providing church-to-church resources, training, and collaborative opportunities that strengthen leadership, deepen discipleship, and expand missional engagement. Our desire is not to compete, but to contribute—standing shoulder to shoulder with fellow believers to build up the Body of Christ and advance the Gospel (Philippians 1:5; 1 Corinthians 3:6–9).

Our Mission and Eternal Hope

We believe in the resurrection of the human body and the eternal existence of every person in either heaven or hell (John 5:28–29; Daniel 12:2). This sacred reality gives urgency and purpose to our mission. Billions of people still live without access to the Gospel, and we are committed to seeing the Church equipped and mobilized to reach them (Matthew 24:14).

Our life together is marked by worship that exalts Christ, fellowship that reflects His love, and mission that carries His mercy to the world. MercyGift is committed to walking together in grace and truth—rooted in Scripture, empowered by the Spirit, and united in Christ—as we participate in God’s redemptive work for the glory of His name and the good of all people (Micah 6:8; Colossians 1:28).

Ready to discover your place in the mission?

The Great Commission is not a task for a few—it is a calling for the whole Church. Every believer has a part to play, and together we can see the Gospel advance to those who have never heard.

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”  Romans 10:14-15 NIV
